Following the recent report of a new outburst of the neutron star transient SAX J1747.0-2853 (ATel #1228), we observed this source with Swift on 2007 Oct 9 for a total good time of 4.6 ksec. The spectrum of this object can be well-fit by either an absorbed power law with N_H = (7.8 + 0.6)E22 cm^-2 and Gamma = 2.7 + 0.2, or an absorbed multicolour disk blackbody with N_H = (5.5 +/- 0.4)E22 cm^-2 and kT = 1.7 + 0.1 keV.
