Several modifications were performed on the Brazilian developed VS-30 sounding rocket, in order to attend required specifications for new scientific and technological experiments in micro gravity environment. The new rocket, denominated VSB-30, should have a performance quite similar to the European Skylark-7 rocket. Thus, the acceptance testing parameters were initially devised based on the environmental testing proposed for the Skylark-7 rocket. The experimental vibration results were used to calculate a transfer function between the input and output points. Flight data and the transfer function previously calculated were used to evaluate the corresponding base excitation inputs, which were than compared to the data used on the ground experimental tests.
