The system 145-IG-03 consists of two galaxies and one starlike object which are apparently connected by luminous bridges. A spectrogram shows that the starlike object is in fact a foreground star. It follows that it is only by chance seen imposed on the bridge. The existence of such an example casts doubt upon the assumption which is sometimes made that bridges between galaxies indicate that the galaxies are physically associated.
