Observations of very faint meteors provide a test of the theories of meteoroid structure. With a recently developed low-light-level television system, such observations have been made, and it has been found that the solid compact meteoroid model must be abandoned. Our observations, which are in good agreement with the radio results of Verniani, give a vertical train length of about 6.7 + or - 0.7 km.
