I will analyse the lack of GZK cut-off in very high energy cosmic rays,
and relate it with optical surveys of galaxies. A study made with the
UZC survey does not show the presence of any over-density, which could
explain the lack of cut-off. Furthermore, I will derive an order of
magnitude for dwarf galaxy density.
