Primordial Black Holes may have formed in the early universe either from initial inhomogeneities or from phase transitions. Their possible detection by the emission of antiproton thanks to Hawking evaporation is very promising since new experimental data are available (BESS) and will be obtained in the years to come (AMS). On the other hand, theoretical works show that some fundamental parameters of string gravity could also be constrained by the residual emission of such objects.
