Most of the low-mass red giant stars that are observed in the globular clusters present abundance patterns that stellar evolution models fail to reproduce. On basis of the evolutionary scenario, which invokes an internal origin for this anomalies, we will present a rotation-induced extra-mixing process that can act on the RGB. We will then expose preliminary results concerning the effects of such a mechanism.
