A description of the equipment employed in the studies is given along with details regarding the observing conditions. An evaluation of the instrumental polarization is also conducted. Observational data obtained from a number of sources are considered, giving attention to Orion (OMC 1), W Hydrae, and NML Cygnus. It is found that the emission from Orion has at least three reproducible left circularly polarized features. W Hya exhibits a possible 20% right circular polarization.
