We have completed the construction of a 2-D catalogue of 16400 IRAS galaxies with well defined selection criteria and completeness properties, covering 93% of the sky and including the first quantitative coverage of the Great Attractor region. We wish to use the CTIO 1.5m and 4m telescopes to obtain redshifts for low-latitude southern galaxies without known redshift.
