Sensitive VLA observations at 1.4 GHz are reported for two fields containing the absorption-line quasars PHL 938 and PHL 5200. At this frequency, both quasars remained undetected at a 3 rms limit of 0.5 mJy. In additional observations, upper limits of 10 mJy were established at 10.7 GHz for both quasars. The VLA maps show interesting radio sources within approximately 1 arcmin of these quasars, which may be relevant to the 'intervening galaxy' hypothesis for the origin of absorption lines in quasar spectra.
