Spectra of the Ap CrSrEu star HR 234 (HD 4778) at 27 A/mm were obtained on 13 nights. Contrary to earlier reports, strontium is found to have the largest variation in line strengths, with three maxima occurring with a 2.156-day period. A broad feature in the Ca II K line is also variable. Representative spectra are illustrated. Radial velocities show evidence for variability associated with spots but no spectroscopic binary motion.
