Results are presented for analysis of the R(J) lines of the C-13 methane 3 nu-3 band in high-resolution spectra of Saturn obtained by Fourier spectroscopy. A C-12/C-13 ratio of 60 plus 40 or minus 15 is estimated from a comparison of the observed line strengths with the corresponding line strengths of the same band in C-12 methane. This deduced isotopic ratio is shown not to be inconsistent with the C-12/C-13 ratio generally accepted for the sun, the telluric planets, meteorites, comets, and the local interstellar medium.
