The surface brightness distributions of several extragalactic sources have been measured. Results for AP Librae and B2 1652+39 are consistent with a model of a nonthermal central source superposed on a giant elliptical galaxy at redshifts of 0.0486 and 0.0337, respectively. The galaxy 0246+18 appears to have a galactic star superposed. Photoelectric UBV observations of five Markarian galaxies indicate that three are similar to BL Lacertae objects in color and spectral index.
