The current status of VLBI applications to geodesy and astrometry is reviewed. Reference is made to such experimental programs as Astronomical Radio Interferometric Earth Surveying, Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package, and Pacific Plate Motion Experiment, and attention is given to improvements of the observational method and data processing used in VLBI systems.
