Zero-age horizontal-branch loci have been computed taking into account evolutionary indications on core masses at the helium flash and the increase of helium content in the envelope of red giants. As a result, ZAHB loci have been obtained as function of the initial chemical composition only, assuming a cluster age of 10 billion years. Six values of metal content (Z equals 0.00001, 0.00001, 0.0004, 0.001, 0.004, and 0.01) and four values for the original helium abundance (Y equals 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, and 0.40) have been considered. The computed models almost reach the helium main sequence.
