A faint M2 V star, showing a T Tau-like emission-line spectrum, has been
found in undistinguished dark cloud. The star is bright in the
near-infrared region and its location in the HR diagram suggests extreme
youth. The star had faded by about 1 mag between 1953 and 1954 as had an
arcuate cometary nebula associated with it.
