The rate coefficient for radiative association of CH/plus/ is calculated for temperatures ranging from 20 K to 1000 K with a quantum treatment including the rotational distortion of the nuclear wave functions. The sharp resonances arising in the process are systematically enumerated and located. They result in an enhancement of no more than 25 percent for the rate coefficient, in comparison with the semiclassical values.
