Three filamentary nebulae, NGC 2359, M 1-67 and S 188 were observed with the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope at 21 cm. All appear to have thermal radio emission. The possibility that S 188 is a supernova remnant is ruled out. The objects show appreciable differences; with the possible exception of S 188, all are produced by mass loss from Wolf-Rayet stars. NGC 2359 is associated with a diffuse emission nebula in much the same way as in NGC 7635, which has resulted from mass loss by an Of star. M 1-67 may be associated with a runaway star, and S 183 is probably the result of mass loss by a normal type star. The differences between the objects can be explained better by differences in the conditions in the surrounding interstellar medium than by differences in the type of the central star.
