UBV and Hα photometry from the summer of 1982 indicate that activity has increased on CH Cygni. A B-V colour of +0.30±0.05 was measured; the amplitude of short time-scale "flickering" has grown since the 1977 outburst, more so in the B and V bandpasses than in the U. These recent developments are interpreted as ramifications of the binary nature of CH Cyg.
