The effects of meso-turbulence on the solar CaII K spectral lines are studied in this paper. The results show that, when the spatial resolution is improved or the correlation length of the turbulent field is increased, the observed line profiles exhibit more pronounced asymmetries. The micro- and macro-turbulence approximation can be safely used when the correlation length is less than 40 km, and it has no great influence on the model calculations. However, when the length is more than 40 km, this simple dichotomy yields some errors. An example is finally presented to certify that the computed profile can still match the observed one if only the meso-turbulent fields are used.
