For determination of the physical parameters of stars observed in the Vilnius photometric system, calibration of the UBV system can be used. For this purpose, the empirical relations between the (B-V)0 color index of the UBV and the (Y-V)0 color index of the Vilnius photometric system have been obtained for metal-poor stars (luminosity classes III and V). The obtained equations make it possible to derive with a standard error of 0.03 mag the (B-V)0 color indices from observations of stars in the Vilnius photometric system.
