The authors present observations of the active RS CVn variable II Peg made during the 1981 observing season. A marked change in the emission line behavior with phase over that observed several years ago is noted. In addition a unique decrease in the H-alpha emission flux to unprecedented sustained low levels was observed during the summer of 1981.
