Einstein A-values are given for the electric dipole transitions in the H2O molecule (both the orthosystem and the parasystem) between all rotational levels of the vibrational ground state up to 1500/cm. These values are used to compute the mean radiative lifetimes of the levels. The results have relevance to the study of H2O masers in interstellar space.
