An iterative procedure which produces a final density distribution in equilibrium with the potential generated by it is presently used to compute the equilibrium structure of a self-gravitating thick accretion disk. Attention is given to the primary differences among the properties of the models thus computed with those derived from models computed in the absence of self-gravitation.
