The present kinematic data and H-alpha surface brightness observations for the N120 nebular bubblelike complex of the LMC indicate that this complex is composed of several smaller nebulae having various origins that form a ring, rather than being a random superposition along the line-of-sight. Violent motions are noted at the periphery of the complex; this differs from the case of a normal 'ring-shaped nebula' in radial expansion, and suggests star formation occurring at the boundaries of the ring several million years ago. The significance of the high density medium in the giant nebulae of external galaxies is noted.
