Image, energy spectra and timing data results are presented from March 23-24, 1990 observations conducted toward Cyg X-1 with the orbiting coded-aperture SIGMA telescope in the 35 keV to 1.3 MeV range. The source has been detected up to about 500 keV with high statistical significance. The best fit of an analytical shape to the derived photon spectrum corresponds to a Comptonized model. Millisec-resolution timing data confirm the variability down to 80-msec timescales previously detected by HEAO-1.
