Preliminary analysis of UBVRJHKLMNQ photometry of CH Cyg during 1978-1982 indicates that when this systemn is in its active state the infrared radiation of the cool (M6 III) component undergoes semiregular fluctuations coinciding in period and phase with the quiescent variability. An improved value is obtained for the distance: 310 + or - 50 pc. From 1978 to March 1982, CH Cyg brightened optically by approximately 2.5 m.
