We investigate the phase dependence of the light variations due to pulsations, as modulated with light variations due to the eclipses. The study is based, both on a simplified model and on the rigorous light curve (LC) synthesis software of Wilson and Devinney. We model AB Cas as a prototype, using both of these approaches. The phase dependence of the differential light variations for total systems is also discussed .
