The problem of the translational-rotational motion of a triaxial rigid body is formulated in the restricted problem of three rigid bodies. The motion of the body is described by canonical osculating elements. The existence of particular regular solutions for the rigid body in a first approximation is established on the basis of the Gaussian averaging scheme. The question of the stability of these motions in the Lyapunov sense is investigated in a first approximation.
