Observations of 56 galaxies ranging through all the main morphological types, have been corrected for galactic absorption, redshift, aperture and inclination effects. The aperture effect is determined from the data, while the range in inclination and types is too small to determine the inclination effect. Values transformed from the second Reference Catalogue are therefore used for this correction. The corrected spectral energy distribution is shown for each galaxy and for the mean of galaxy types.
