Visual and radio observations of the BL Lac object B2 1308 + 326 have been accumulated for a period of several years. In this source, repetitive optical-near-infrared outbursts are observed which can have luminosities exceeding 10 to the 48th ergs/s. Based on light travel time arguments, the size of the region powering these bursts is less than 10 to the 17th cm. In the radio, bursting behavior is also observed. However, the radio bursts are less energetic and come from larger regions. It is argued that the photometric properties of B2 1308 + 326 are the result of nonthermal emission by an object or objects with mass greater than 100 million solar masses confined to a region of dimension R less than about 10 to the 17th cm.
