New VLA maps of the galactic center at 6 and 2 cm reveal thermal H II regions at the boundaries of nonthermal structures. In addition to star formation immediately east of SgrA-East, there is a cluster of OB stars approximately 5 arcmin south of SgrA-West, and a nonthermal 'wisp' approximately 4 arcmin south of SgrA-West. This 'wisp' may be part of a heretofore undetected supernova remnant in the galactic center. The juxtaposition of nonthermal and thermal continuum emission, as well as the apparent embedding of the H II regions in the molecular condensations, suggest strong interactions between galactic center continuum sources with their molecular environment. It is suggested that the molecular clouds M-0.02-0.07 and M-0.13-0.08 are in fact within 10 pc of the galactic center. If this is true, tidal stripping of the lower density envelopes of these clouds can support an accretion rate of over 0.001 solar mass/yr for up to 100 Myr.
