High-resolution laser spectroscopy of CaOH which produces accurate spectroscopic constants for the B 2Sigma(+), A 2Pi, and X 2Sigma(+) states of CaOH is discussed. The spectra are detected by scanning the laser and recording the fluorescence through a 0.65 meter monochromator which acts as a filter to simplify the excitation spectrum by recording only the lines of interest. The results of a weighted nonlinear least-squares fit of all the available CaOH data are reported. It is shown that the X 2Sigma(+) constants predict the lower-frequency microwave transitions to an accuracy of about 10 MHz. The predicted microwave frequencies may facilitate the detection of CaOH in molecular clouds.
