A few years ago, Banerjee and Banerji had given a class of exact interior solutions for a perfect spherically-symmetric fluid distribution with inhomogeneous density and pressure. This class serves as a simple model for gravitational collapse with inhomogeneous matter and, therefore, may be of an essential astrophysical importance. It is proved that these solutions are, in fact, identical with Faulkes' earlier solutions.
