The present conference on solar neutrino detection and astronomy considers such topics related to the use of the Homestake, South Dakota mine as the 14-year chlorine solar neutrino experiment, cosmic ray depth studies with K-39 to Ar-37 detectors, the Large Area Scintillation Detector and Cosmic Ray Telescope, and the Ge-76 double-beta decay experiment. Also considered are particle transport properties in solar-type stars, the relationship of instabilities and mixing to solar neutrinos, the use of (p, n) reactions to determine neutrino cross sections, short term variations of the solar neutrino luminosity, a novel Ga solar neutrino detector, Mo- and Tl-205-based detection experiments, and an In-based experiment using superconducting grains. Neutrino astronomy topics encompass atmospheric neutrino fluxes at low energy, neutrino generation by stellar collapse, and limits on the cosmic ray nu(e) flux above 10 to the 17th eV.
