A model for quantitative description of the intensities in the electron spectra of diatomic molecules which plays an important part in astrophysical investigations of the interstellar medium and planetary atmospheres is considered. The results of a quantum-mechanical calculation of the Franck-Condon factors and other radiative characteristics of some astrophysically important N2 molecular systems of nitrogen are presented and discussed.
