Helioseismology, Solar Neutrinos
Scientific paper
Solar models are more and more constrained by helioseismology. Meanwhile, solar neutrino measurements at the earth are more and more precise owing to the various detectors working simultaneously. The astrophysical solutions to the solar neutrino problem which have been proposed in the past are ruled out and neutrino oscillations seem the most promising explanation for the observed spectrum. However the situation is not yet completely settled, either in astrophysics or in particle physics.
