X-Ray, Request For Observations, Binaries, Transients

We report that analysis of archival data of TTM telescope aboard KVANT module of MIR orbital station revealed the detection of recently discovered X-ray source IGR J17091-3624 (ATEL#149) in several subsequent observations performed on Oct.1-10, 1994. The source position was determined as R.A.=17h09m06s, Dec.=-36o24'07" (equinox 2000, error radius about 0.8') that is within 0.6' from published INTEGRAL position.
