Young Binaries, Low-Mass Companions, Disk Winds
Scientific paper
We consider the possible observational effects produced by the dusty disk winds in the young binary systems with the low-mass secondary components. One of them is the photometric effect caused by the eclipses of the main component by the dusty disk wind of the secondary. Another one is connected with the formation of the asymmetric dust and gas common envelopes and lobes. Their scattered and thermal radiation can be the source of the cyclic variations of the linear polarization and that of the infrared radiation of young stars. The calculations show that these effects can be also observed if the low-mass companion is the giant protoplanet in the stage of intensive mass accretion.
