The 327-MHz sensitivity and resolution parameters of various existing and proposed terrestrial VLBI networks are reviewed, and astrophysical objects which could be characterized using these arrays are identified. Particular attention is given to extragalactic sources to be searched for fine (less than 30 marcsec) structures, compact steep-spectrum radio sources, the prominent cores of strong radio sources with arcsec-scale structures, morphological variants of low-frequency variables, samples of strong radio sources, steep-spectrum cores in extended sources, compact components in Seyfert galaxies, flat-spectrum sources, and sources well studied by VLBI at cm wavelengths. Graphs and tables of numerical data are included.
