After the announcement of the discovery of the new galactic transient source Swift J185003.2-005627 (Beardmore et al., GCN 12083; Beardmore et al., ATel #3454), we examined the archival data of the Swift/BAT hard X-ray transient monitor for simultaneous and previous detections of the source. The source is not detected in the daily averages for 2011 June 25 (the day of the discovery) or any day since (1-sigma upper limit of 0.0007 ct/s/cm2).
