AGILE is detecting intense gamma-ray emission above 100 MeV at Galactic coordinates (l,b) = (237.4, 38.4) ± 0.9 deg (95% stat.) ± 0.1 deg (syst.) (R.A.,Dec.=147.4,0.3 deg, J2000). Integrating from 2011-06-20 07:30 UT to 2011-06-22 11:20 UT, a maximum likelihood analysis yields a detection at a significance level of about 5 sigma and a flux of (310+/-100) x 10E-8 ph/cm2/s (E > 100 MeV). On a 10 days integration starting from June 10th, we obtain only a 95% C.L.
