Turbidity in the Mars atmosphere is due to large-scale dust storms. In order to study this phenomenon and the spectral and spatial structure of the thermal emission field in the turbid Mars atmosphere a semi-infinite absorbing and scattering layer model is used. Numerical calculations are presented for obtaining the spectral intensities of ascending and descending thermal emission.
