The Monte Carlo method is used to model isotropic ejections from the nucleus of comet 1862 III at various points in its orbit. Deviations from the orbital elements of this comet are calculated for the orbits of the ejected meteoric particles. It is found that the best agreement between the orbits of the Perseid swarm and comet 1862 III is obtained if the ejection took place near the point in the latter's orbit with a true anomaly of 30 deg and at ejection velocities of about 100 m/sec. The evolution of orbits of particles ejected as a result of the Poynting-Robertson effect is examined.
