Scientific paper

The theory of anisotropic light scattering is used to compute theoretical light curves of a planet. A plane-parallel homogeneous semi-infinite model atmosphere with a Henyey-Greenstein scattering indicatrix is assumed. Optical characteristics of scattering particles in the atmosphere of Venus are estimated by comparing the theoretical light curves with observational data.
