Results of radio observations of M82 over a wide range of frequencies are reported in the form of a supersynthesis map at 8085 MHz. The radio structure is found to be complex and to be dominated by a bright unresolved and unpolarized source. It is shown that this source becomes optically thick at 650 MHz and emits 65% of its flux at 1666 MHz from a region that is less than 1.2 pc in diameter. Nine other discrete radio sources are isolated near the nucleus. It is suggested that the compact radio sources may be supernova remnants and that the magnetic field in the nucleus is highly tangled on all size scales down to an upper limit of 20 pc.
