A study of the three-wave resonances for models with helium enriched inhomogeneous outer layers in the double-mode Cepheids is presented. The normalized resonance distance was calculated by applying their eigenfrequency based on the linearized equation; the resulting periods are not exactly equal to the adiabatic periods, but the difference due to the nonadiabatic term is so small that the relative difference is under 0.01. The model with the evolutionary mass and the helium enrichment estimated from analogy of the helium deficiency in the solar wind does not provide the observed periods and strong resonance. It is concluded that masses of less than the evolutionary mass or with more enriched helium abundance for the outermost layers are required to explain the observation.
