New observations of the PV Cephei nebulosity and its surrounding cloud are presented. Polarization mapping and direct imaging show that this object has a biconical structure and is located within an asymmetric distribution of both matter and magnetic field. The circumstellar material probably has a disklike structure responsible for collimating the bipolar outflow from the star.
