A total of 332 exposures of Gliese 815 were measured and analyzed for its position, proper motion, parallax, and orbit. Its absolute parallax is 0.0692±0.0029 arcsec. The astrometric orbit of the wide pair, the visual observations, and the spectroscopic orbit of the close pair yield masses MAa = 0.9Msun, MAb = O.6Msun, and MB =0.5Msun. Astrometric constants were determined for 32 other stars in the region, including BD+39°4400. The absolute parallax of the latter is 0.0200 ± 0.0052 arcsec. Two other reference stars, BD+39°4403 and AO 584, were discovered to be a common proper motion pair.
