Data on the chemical, mineralogical, and isotopic composition characteristics of meteors and cosmic dust (collected in the stratosphere and deep sea sediments) are examined. A new type of cosmic material (chondritic porous aggregates) was discovered. It is shown that these aggregates, which possess unusual morphology and structure, are characterized by homogeneous chemical microstructure and a highly heterogeneous macrostructure, high contents of carbonaceous matter and volatile elements, and high density of cosmic-ray tracks. The material is enriched in deuterium and contains unusual minerals as well as relicts of gas-phase condensates and catalytic gas-phase reactions. It is concluded that the chondritic porous aggregates represent the most primitive cosmic matter.
